Reese Witherspoon kept busy shopping around Santa Monica today, just two weeks after giving birth to her third son, and first with hubby Jim Toth, Tennessee James.
It’s the first time the 37-year-old has been snapped post-Tennessee and she’s keeping her figure down by running around sunny L.A. and completing errands on foot.
The “Walk the Line” actress didn’t make it a big fuss though (so Reese, right?), keeping her profile low key in dark sunglasses, baggy black sweater over ankle cuffed blue jeans, and ballet flats.
Reese welcomed little brother to Ava and Deacon (her first two children from previous marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe) into the Witherspoon family circle on September 27 and has been sticking close to the crib ever since.
It’s Jim who’s the one being spotted around Los Angeles recently taking Ava and Deacon to their soccer games, except maybe you missed that memo because naturally he doesn’t look as chic in ballet flats with bejeweled embellishing.
Reese named her new boy after her home state, a heartfelt reminder of a place she visits often and holds a special personal place for. You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl or her third baby’s name is how I think the saying goes.
In addition to Tennessee duties, Reese is keeping herself busy as executive producer to a modern-day TV series for The CW network that’s based around the Charles Dickens’ classic “Great Expectations.” It’s scheduled to air in 2013.
