Pregnancy jitters, anyone?
Reese Witherspoon experienced a bit of excitement on Tuesday night. A month prior to her baby’s due date, the actress was rushed to the hospital for complications… Fortunately, it looks like everything’s okay.
RadarOnline.com reports the news…
According to the source, Reese and her husband, Jim Toth, rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night for what they thought was to welcome to their first child. But, a source tells Radar that it was just a false alarm.
“Reese was actually taken to the hospital on Tuesday night with complications," the source said. "She was released that night and then rushed back to the hospital today. At this point it looks like she might have the baby."
Understandably, the couple is a little nervous about having the baby prematurely, but a source close to the situation assures that, with it being so close to her due date, “they’re confident the baby will be just fine.”
The UK’s Daily Mail adds that the actress is “healthy and fine” following the scare and, in fact, “there is no drama.”
Not like Reese is a rookie when it comes to giving birth. Though this is Toth’s first child, Reese has two other children from a previous marriage with Ryan Phillippe.
Reese and Ryan were married for nine years, divorcing in 2008. She married Jim married on March 26, 2011.
Following the birth of her child, the actress is already scheduled to appear in three films slated for 2013 release dates. Her last film, Devil’s Knot is currently in postproduction.
