'Rendition' star Reese Witherspoon blushed on live TV when Ellen asked about her new beau Jake Gyllenhaal. She said she couldn't help but admit he was "cute."
Reese and Jake have been dancing around romance rumors for months but they were recently caught holding hands and kissing while deboarding a plane overseas.
Reese told Ellen: "Jake's cute; he's cute." "Yes. He's great," Reese instantly agreed with a smile, blushing and breaking into laughter as she realized she had been tricked into speaking about him.
After Ellen stopped teasing Reese about her love life, Reese shows off the Halloween costume that left her too embarrassed to meet rock idol Bono. Reese had dressed up as Sally from 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' one year for Halloween at a party but was left too embarrassed to meet Bono because she was the ONLY adult who had dressed up.
"It's a party with lots of famous people there - Michael Douglas, Cindy Crawford - looking fabulous and like themselves," Reese told the Ellen. She added, "The guest of honor was Bono, this hot, amazing rock star, and I'm dressed like that. And the host goes, 'Um, Bono wants to meet you, would you like to say hi?" Whispering, Reese recalled, "And I said, 'Actually, no I'm going to pass'. It' embarrassing." Still, the star insists she can't resist dressing up in costume. And asked if she would dress up if invited to another party this year, she proudly insisted, "Absolutely!"
