Axl Rose wasn’t kidding when he sang “Welcome to the Jungle” about life in LA, and actress Reese Witherspoon learned that the hard way. This Oscar winning actress has left the "glamorous" city for life back at home in the south. After a very public divorce from her husband Ryan Philippe of seven years, Reese is moving back to Charleston, South Carolina.
According to New York Post columnist Liz Smith, the star was thoroughly disgusted with both marriage and her life in Hollywood and wanted to return to her Southern roots. Witherspoon has moved back to Charleston to be closer to her family and has enrolled both of her children in local public schools. The star recently claimed she was coping with life after the split saying, "I'm doing fine. I'm getting out a little more now. You'll be seeing more of me."
