Worth noting that they don't get paid that much for *every* movie. Kidman, for instance, starred in Dogville and Fur, and I'd be surprised if either movie had a total budget of $15 million.

honestly can someone provide proof that angelina has made $20 mil for ANY movie?! Her only blockbuster was MAMS. Last I heard Julia Roberts was the highest paid. This list is WRONG. Jodie Foster is a vet in this business... how does she fall so low on the totem pole?

i think this is a little off, because it's a known fact that julia roberts gets paid around $20 mil for starring roles. reese witherspoon #1??? i don't think so...

Jodie Foster gets $10 million-$12 million... Per movie??? Unbe-friggin-lievable! I saw the Brave One on Sept 14th '07 (the night it debuted) and there were only like 5 or 6 people in the entire theater. The movie started out well enough but quickly went downhill from there. By the time Foster's character, Erica Bain, screams "I want my dog back!" some lady in the back of the theater screamed: "Forget the freggin' dog, Erica... How about giving me my money back!" Don't get me wrong here, she was great like 16 years ago in Silence of the Lambs but the subsequent string of "Jodie plays the victim and martyr" movies is really getting old. Also, I can't believe the director was the same dude who made the hit movie "The Crying Game."

These are all good actresses. But it is a bit unfortunate that the majority of these women are white and the only non-white is at the bottom of the list. really? times need to change.
