Reality Check

Happy Halloween y’all! For the past few weeks we’ve been asking celebrities what they are gonna be for the big day.

Some celebrities actually had some funny and creative costumes, but my favorite had to be Shawn Wayans’ and Dita Von Teese's.

Check out the video and tell us who gets your vote for favorite costume idea.

The 2008 Presidential elections are a year away, but Hollywood is getting a head start. Last Thursday, Justin Timberlake, Hayden Panattiere and Hollywood’s brightest young stars came out to support the Declare Yourself foundation to help mobilize 18-year-olds to register to vote in the 2008 primaries and general election.

At the event, all guests were able to register to vote as "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad did by logging on to www.DeclareYourself.com " target="_blank"> www.DeclareYourself.com . Attendees were also treated to a special viewing of an original copy of the Declaration of Independence, one of 200 printed on July 4, 1776 provided by the founder of the organization, Norman Lear.

With all the history talk, we decided to do a pop quiz with some of our favorite stars to see how well they know their American History. Check out the video!

The Big Ten is MTV's exclusive morning show for people who don't do mornings. You can catch The Big Ten on MTV every weekday morning at 9 a.m. ET/PT. It's chill, unscripted fun from the MTV Times Square studios in New York City, with MTV VJs Susie Castillo and Damien Fahey. It's nothing like what you see on other morning shows where they're talking about baking cookies and the weather and stuff.

If you haven’t heard by now a fire is blazing through L.A. and naturally Hollyscoop is in the center of it all. Literally, our Hollyscoop offices are based in the area and unfortunately we were involved in all the drama.

We haven’t gotten much sleep since we were evacuated out of our offices/home. But have no fear, we will continue to blog (we're at a coffee shop) and bring you all the scoop! To read more about the fire click HERE.

We wanna thank all the sexy firefighters that are working their asses off to help contain the fire. You guys seriously rock!

Yesterday we went to the Music Plus studios and did a hour-long segment with the lovely Erica Cornwall for the daily entertainment stories. The segment is separated in three sections, hope you enjoy it!

Contrary to popular belief, we actually don't have a full staff here at Hollyscoop, it’s pretty much us 3 girls and our shirtless I.T. tech guy.

We've been working around the clock the last few months to add some really cool features to the site.

We now have a PHOTO GALLERY thats updated several times a day where you can rate pictures, search for specific photos, and even leave comments.

We also just launched a full scale FORUM. You can go to the forum and chat with other readers, post your own stories and pictures, or just comment on stories that others post. We encourage other blogs or readers to post stories and/or pictures you find that we don't cover on the site. Happy blogging!
