Is there trouble in paradise? And by paradise I mean, the Real Housewives of New York City, so not really paradise at all but rather a cage-match consisting of only fighting hens and mean tea-cup chihuahuas.
Rumor is that the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City will be missing Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord. This is a big deal because some of these ladies are arguably the most "popular" of the housewives. I don't really get it, because I just thought all these women did was fight with each other and go on lunch dates, but apparently there's a pecking order.
Anyways, sources from Bravo told the HuffingtonPost that all three women have been fired. Meaning that LuAnn de Lessep and Ramona Singer would be the only original cast members remaining and Sonja Morgan who joined the show during season 3.
It was also reported that Cindy Barshop, who just joined the show during season 4, is also getting fired.
However, now the ladies and other sources are saying that this is all just rumors. Bravo is keeping all the negotiations very hush-hush. Rookie "Housewife" Cindy Barshop says, "Everything out there right now is just rumors. Nothing is 100 [percent] decided yet, it could go either way."
The original report was that the women were fired just this morning and that it came as a shock to all, but a rep for Jill Zarin told People, "Jill is still in discussions with Bravo for season 5 and no final decisions have been made."
Alex McCord then tweeted, "Speaking for myself only, there is no decision yet whether I'm in or out of #RHONY. Nothing's finalized, though I'd like to do another year."
Like clockwork, Bensimon's rep also says that the firing rumors are false and that no final decisions have been made.
LuAnn de Lesspeps also told New York Live yesterday that three new ladies will be added to the cast, which only further fueled the fire. These three other ladies have yet to be named.
C'mon, it's obvious they are in a bidding war. Those three chicks probably want way more money than Bravo is willing to offer. These ladies need to take some negotiating tips from the Jersey Shore kids. The cast of Jersey Shore demanded more money and they got it.
That's the only instance when anyone should take advice from the cast of The Jersey Shore. The only instance.
