Real Housewives of New York City

Meet the newest “Real Housewives of New York” castmember: Aviva Drescher. She’s not a “skinnygirl,” she doesn’t release crappy music videos about being rich, and she’s not trying to launch her own “fashion line.”

Drescher, 38, is a lawyer, a mom, a born and bred Upper East-Sider, oh and she’s also an amputee.

Brandi Glanville’s crutches ‘aint got nothing on Drescher.
Ever season and every city of the Real Housewives are the same. Ridiculous women with too much botox, too much money and too much free time get in fights with each other while their tea-cup Chihuahua’s yap away in the background. Once the Bravo series launched in 2006 with "The Real Housewives of Orange County" American was so enamored that they decided to launch the series in 6 other cities. However, some Real Housewives are more screwed up than the rest, which begs the question, which Real Housewives spin-off cast is the most f-cked up?

Atlanta: The Real Housewives of Atlanta or HOTlanta as it's sometimes referred to, have a cat fight every 5 seconds. While the Beverly Hills casts have slow burning mutual hatred that sometimes show it's fangs at dinner parties or bridal showers, the Real Housewives of Atlanta just fight all the time, whenever they feel like it. At the mall, at the salon, at Champagne brunches, these women's crazy knows no bounds. NeNe Leakes got in a fight at a fancy party with designer friend Dwight Eubanks, and I have no idea what they were fighting about except that she kept shouting the phrase "10 thousand dollars" while tossing champagne in people's faces...

Same coop, four less clucking hens. Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan confirmed that the show has fired four of its cast members.

Great. Who am I going to complain about now? I can see them axing Kelly, because she’s like, nice, and the closest thing to normal in all of the Real Housewives franchise. But Jill, Alex, and Cindy, are probably the most annoying women on the show, and if there’s anything American audiences love, it’s watching people be annoying. Hence, Jersey Shore. Actually--hence, reality television.

Jill starts the drama, Alex is so uptight it’s embarrassing to watch her, and Cindy is neurotic to the point of being mentally ill. What are we going to do without them?

Is there trouble in paradise? And by paradise I mean, the Real Housewives of New York City, so not really paradise at all but rather a cage-match consisting of only fighting hens and mean tea-cup chihuahuas.

Rumor is that the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City will be missing Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord. This is a big deal because some of these ladies are arguably the most "popular" of the housewives. I don't really get it, because I just thought all these women did was fight with each other and go on lunch dates, but apparently there's a pecking order.

Anyways, sources from Bravo told the HuffingtonPost that all three women have been fired. Meaning that LuAnn de Lessep and Ramona Singer would be the only original cast members remaining and Sonja Morgan who joined the show during season 3.
Because they didn’t annoy the world enough last week, The Real Housewives of New York City returned for the second part of their reunion Monday night.

It’s best to watch this with your closed captioning on, otherwise it just sounds like a bunch of Chihuahuas barking after someone rang a doorbell. Andy Cohen looked like he wanted to put shock collars on all of them.

Bravo put the blondes on one couch and the brunettes on the other, further emphasizing the rift between them this season. Some highlights included:
Ever wonder what your grandma would be like if she ditched her medication for Botox? Welcome to the Real Housewives of New York. Apparently, a side effect of Juvederm is turning into an old, petty crow.

The fourth season of the show has had so much name calling, drag queen insults and petty fighting, insiders say “producers are worried that this cast can no longer film together.”

“All the ladies have long memories and will not let the smallest thing go. The level of hatred at the moment is so high that it's toxic and all consuming. It doesn’t make for good TV drama. Now it’s just petty and sad.”

Bethenny Frankel is in a pretty good position right now. She’s been successful in distancing herself from Real Housewives of New York, although she’s still technically contracted to them.

With her own reality show, Frankel has been able to break free and stay in the spotlight at the same time. We’ll be seeing more of her on Bethenny Getting Married, which has gotten picked up for another season.

Bethenny told Hollyscoop at the MTV VMA awards, “People love my show because I am telling the truth. It is what it is…that’s my real life…every minute, nothing sensationalized.”

She added that it’s “not scripted at all,” and what you see on the screen is what’s really happening in her, Jason, and baby Bryn’s lives.

As for Real Housewives, as Hollyscoop previously reported that Frankel will be returning to the show for the fourth season. But Bethenny continued to play coy with us, saying, “I wont go back to Real Housewives unless I have to. If I am legally obligated. I don’t know--they haven’t started yet, so I have to see.”

Since Bethenny has had so much success in the reality world, we couldn’t help but ask if she would ever consider doing Dancing With the Stars. “There’s been so many seasons of it,” she told us, adding, “Maybe something else like it,” she teased.

Interesting! We love Bethenny, and think she’s in her reality prime right now! She should continue to ride the wave as long as possible!

Great news for Real Housewives of New York City fans, despite contrary reports, Bethenny Frankel IS returning for the fourth season of the hit Bravo show.

Sources close to Bethenny tell Hollyscoop exclusively, "She's been asked to return for the new season and negotiations are ongoing."

Bethenny's old bff Jill Zarin and her archenemy Kelly Bensimon will also return for some more drama. LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan are also returning for season four. And rumor has it that Bravo is also courting a "wealthy Hamptons housewife" for the new season.

Meanwhile, Bethenny's other hit show "Bethenny Getting Married?" has been renewed for a second season, because let's face it, everyone loves Bethenny.

Bethenny is the reason Real Housewives of New York City was such a success. She's the first person to call out a crazy person for acting crazy, or to make fun of herself when she does something ridiculous. All in all, Bravo was smart to convince her into another season.

Is Bethenny Frankel too cool for the Real Housewives?

In a new interview, Bethenny says that she won't return to the show unless there are some major changes.

“I don’t see myself going back to The Real Housewives the way that the cast is now,” Frankel says.

Things were really bad for Bethenny on the show this past season. She had beef with Kelly Bensimon and ended her friendship with Jill Zarin.

At this point, Bethenny doesn't even need the Housewives. She has her new show, Bethenny Getting Married? and it's doing very well. In that show she gets to just be herself without all the unwanted drama women tend to bring.

“[Bethenny Getting Married?] has been so well received, everyone loves it and it’s really all about me, so that takes a big weight off of my shoulders because I guess I can carry a show,” she says.

“I just am so happy. I really have the best fans. They’re so interactive and they root for me,” she adds. “I could cry. I have the best fans. It’s all about the relationship with the fans.”

Bethenny's show had the highest rated premiere in Bravo's history so clearly it's her that people like.
Looks like the skinny bitch won’t be leaving Real House wives of New York after all! Bethenny Frankel refutes the claims she’s leaving the Bravo show, saying her time isn’t up just yet.

Bethenny tells Hollyscoop, "The rumors aren't true. That is a total rumor that was regurgitated from another false rumor. So no, I'm not getting replaced."

She added, "The camera's are shooting, so it's all good!"

Nice to know the cat fights aren't over just yet!
