Ray’s been eager to get back to work, and it seems he’s got the perfect show to make his comeback. And his new show already reminds us of Raymond! It’s about a man in his 40s who is going through a bit of a mid-life crisis.
Ray wrote the show, called Men of a Certain Age with his longtime partner and collaborator Mike Royce, and it was picked up by TNT.
Royce says of the show, "The show isn't ever going to be weighty tome. We're really just trying to write out of our own experience and make the show relatable."
The show will follow Ray’s character and his two friends who he’s been buddies with since college, played by Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula. TNT has already picked up 10 episodes of the show, but we’ll have to wait a whole year for it to start. Men of a Certain Age premieres in January 2010.
