Even though he got fired from Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen has somehow managed to remain the highest paid actor on television, according to Forbes. He earned $40 million from syndication and pay owed between May 2010 and May 2011.
Sheen was fired from the show in March 2011, so I guess the numbers make sense. But something tells me he still has a chance for 2012. Because even though we laughed at Sheen’s $100 million lawsuit against Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros., the guy managed to settle out of court. The sum is still a secret, but it’s reported that the entire $100 mil was paid out to the cast and crew, with Charlie getting $25 million of that...

Ray’s been eager to get back to work, and it seems he’s got the perfect show to make his comeback. And his new show already reminds us of Raymond! It’s about a man in his 40s who is going through a bit of a mid-life crisis.
Ray wrote the show, called Men of a Certain Age with his longtime partner and collaborator Mike Royce, and it was picked up by TNT.
Royce says of the show, "The show isn't ever going to be weighty tome. We're really just trying to write out of our own experience and make the show relatable."
The show will follow Ray’s character and his two friends who he’s been buddies with since college, played by Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula. TNT has already picked up 10 episodes of the show, but we’ll have to wait a whole year for it to start. Men of a Certain Age premieres in January 2010.

The star of the night was the late Peter Lawrence Boyle, who died in 2006 from multiple myeloma and heart disease. The Emmy-Award winning actor was known most recently as the cranky and sarcastic Father, Frank Barone on the CBS hit show Everybody Loves Raymond.
Cast members like Doris Roberts, Patricia Heaton, and Ray Romano were joined by the likes of Ted Danson, Kurtwood Smith of That 70's Show, actor Robert Klein, TV Host Julie Chen & CBS President Les Moonves.
The star-studded event was the perfect setting to help raise awareness while celebrating the life of Peter Boyle's amazing 71 years. We caught up with Peter's wife to find out why comedy was brought to the forefront. "Well, tonight we are doing a comedy show because humor is what kept him going thru all of this." explained an emotional Loraine Boyle. Her comments were slightly echoed by Peter Boyle's TV Wife, Doris Roberts, "There is no good life without laughter, it’s better at times than sex."
Patricia Heaton, who played Debra on "Everybody Loves Raymond," gave us the 411 on some of her favorite episodes to shoot with the late Peter Boyle, "There are so many great ones, I love all the holiday ones, Frank and Marie trying to return Ray's Toaster, trying to take a holiday picture together with his parents and my parents. Almost all the really classic ones were the Holiday ones."
When asked about the legacy he had on Ray Romano, Ray told us that he was like a father figure from the very beginning, "Peter Boyle was close with everybody, but we sort of bonded in a way that I don't think the other cast members did. My first year I came from New York and my family stayed in New York and I was in LA like a fish out of water. And Peter also came from New York and did the same thing. He took me under his wing and made it comfortable for me."
Ray added, "Peter Boyle was a guy who could have an hour long conversation with each one of us. With Patricia he talked politics, with Doris he talked travel and life, and with me hooters."

Ray Romano is heading back to work with another sitcom. He's teaming up with Everybody Loves Raymond writer/producer Mike Royce for Men Of A Certain Age, which will air on TNT.
It will feature three men in their 40s who have been friends since college, and are now having mid life crises. Sounds a little like Ray's character but without his nagging mother coming to the house every minute.
