Can't these two just get along? 'Notebook' lovebirds Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' on-off romance is off again.

The couple, who first dated back in 2007, reconciled again a few months ago and were spotted playing tonsil hockey at a restaurant in Toronto, Canada. But friends claim the couple has broken up again.

A source tells Us Weekly, "Rachel is too controlling. They broke up the first time because of their busy schedules - and that's the problem again."

Ryan was reportedly also spotted with another woman a few weeks ago at the UCB theater in NYC. Guess that's that!
