Well, looks like for Michael Sheen, Rachel McAdams will henceforth be known as "the one that got away."
The actor couple, who shared the screen in Woody Allen’s decorated Midnight in Paris, has reportedly thrown in the towel. And, based on reports, it appears as though McAdams was the one who pulled the trigger.
Us Weekly has confirmed the news…
McAdams and Sheen apparently met prior to their time together in Paris, but it wasn’t until after the film wrapped in October of 2010 that they brought their romance into the public sphere.
The sometimes blonde, sometimes brunette stunner caught our eye while starring alongside Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls. She’s also the lucky vixen that got to lock lips with Ryan Gosling in that-time-of-the-month film The Notebook.
Sheen, on the other hand, is famous for having a sweet British accent and, well, dating McAdams… He’s also in a couple of the Twilight movies.
On their romance, McAdams previously told The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine: “You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each other and be best friends.”
“Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart,” she added. “We rack up a lot of air miles — but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not.”
Guess their calenders just opened up a bit.
