Our royal wedding fever has hit an all time high. I’m having dreams about Will and Kate and the wedding. Must seek help…
The photo basically represents Kate’s last day as a commoner. After tomorrow she’ll be Princess Catherine. Don’t you dare call her Kate!
Clad in matching white shirts, Prince William and bride-to-be Kate Middleton are all smiles in this beautiful, black-and-white portrait taken by famed photographer Mario Testino. He also took their official engagement photo a few months back.
The photo was released to go along with the official royal wedding program, which was released this morning.
"We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives," the couple write in their official wedding program, released Thursday.
Their message, signed "William" and "Catherine," goes on to say: "The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness."
The 28-page program also has details about the wedding service at Westminster Abbey, including what music will be heard. Among the selections: the hymn "Jerusalem" by William Blake and the traditional "Greensleeves."
The program also features part of Kate’s vows to Will. It says she will “love, comfort, honor and keep" William. Because only Kate will wear a wedding ring, only William will say "With this ring I thee wed" as he slips the band on the future Princesses finger.
Check back with Hollyscoop tonight and tomorrow for all things royal! And if you want to download the official program you can do it here.
