Prince William Was ‘Terrified’ to Debut Royal Son

There goes Prince William, showing off his baby like it’s the most famous baby on the planet (probably because it is) again…

Speaking with CNN, William gave everyone an update on his son George Alexander Louis, Kate Middleton, and their family pup Lupo.

Judging by their first family portrait, they all look to be at ease with the additions to their family, however William is the first to admit his fears about becoming a new parent.

For example, the mechanics of car seats.

“Believe me, it wasn’t my first time. I had to practice, I really did. I was terrified that I was going to do some, you know—it was going to fall off or the door wasn’t going to close properly,” William said of the big baby debut at St. Mary’s Hospital a month ago. “So, I had actually practiced with that seat, but only once before.”

Since then, though, he’s been embracing his new role as a father like a natural. “I did the first nappy,” he said, “a badge of honor. I wasn’t allowed to get away with that. I had every midwife staring at me—‘You do it. You do it.’”

As for how their dog’s doing? William said: “He’s coping all right. As a lot of people know who have got dogs and bringing a newborn back, they take a little bit of time to adapt…But, no—he’s been all right so far. He’s been slobbering sort of around the house a bit, so he’s perfectly happy.”
