When Prince William’s stint as a search-and-rescue pilot for the RAF ends, the royal papa is reportedly going to rejoin the army.
But don’t worry, the brand-new dad won’t be sent to actual war or anywhere abroad for that matter, Wills will be joining the Household Cavalry’s Mounted Regiment where he will be stationed exclusively in London. OH THANK GOD!
Apparently he’s going to be riding a horse around London in the parades, inspecting soldiers before duty and preparing career reports for troops.
According to an army source, “it’s not a difficult role but it requires a lot of attention to detail.”
The source also adds that his title will be “second in command of a squadron.”
Of course, the royal palace refused to confirm this rumor, saying only, “We will make a statement about the Prince’s future role in due course.”
