During last nights interview with Katie Couric on ABC, Prince William
confessed that he is excited for the prospect of having (and one might
assume making) royal heirs.
“I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I, you
know, are looking forward to having a family in the future.”
Though rumors have been going around for months that Kate might
already be pregnant, William declined to comment on whether or not the
future is now. When Couric asked for details on "anything else." He
responded with, “You won’t get anything out of me. Tight lipped.”
But here's the cool thing people, regardless of the sex of the couples
future child, he or SHE will rule the throne. Apparently Queen
Elizabeth's half-century-plus year run, by default (her father had no
male children), proved that woman are perfectly capable of ruling
empires with dedication to both their job and an unmatched flair for
fashion (read: mad hats).
The interview was conducted in honor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, a
party to celebrate her 60 years on the throne. Couric also
spoke with other various members of the royal family, but let's be
honest, the only one we really care about is Prince Harry, for obvious
reasons. He also confessed his enthusiasm for children of his own,
“I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young. And so … I’m
waiting to find the right person, someone who’s willing to take on the
Ladies, do we have any volunteers?
