Prince William: Kate And I Are Eager for Kids

During last nights interview with Katie Couric on ABC, Prince William confessed that he is excited for the prospect of having (and one might assume making) royal heirs.

“I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I, you know, are looking forward to having a family in the future.”

Though rumors have been going around for months that Kate might already be pregnant, William declined to comment on whether or not the future is now. When Couric asked for details on "anything else." He responded with, “You won’t get anything out of me. Tight lipped.”

But here's the cool thing people, regardless of the sex of the couples future child, he or SHE will rule the throne. Apparently Queen Elizabeth's half-century-plus year run, by default (her father had no male children), proved that woman are perfectly capable of ruling empires with dedication to both their job and an unmatched flair for fashion (read: mad hats).

The interview was conducted in honor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, a party to celebrate her 60 years on the throne. Couric also spoke with other various members of the royal family, but let's be honest, the only one we really care about is Prince Harry, for obvious reasons. He also confessed his enthusiasm for children of his own, “I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young. And so … I’m waiting to find the right person, someone who’s willing to take on the job.”

Ladies, do we have any volunteers?
