Kate Middleton is officially a Princess. Princess Catherine and Prince William became man and wife today. The couple, who will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, exchanged their vows in front of the Archbishop of Canterbury and hundreds of family members.

The veil is made of layers of soft, ivory silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers. The veil is held in place by a Cartier ‘halo’ tiara, lent to Catherine by The Queen.

Prince William wore a red uniform of Colonel of the Irish Guards.

Kate’s sister and maid of honor Pippa also wore an ivory Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress. It’s uncommon for a maid of honor to wear Ivory—but this isn’t your typical wedding.

William joked with Kate's father Michael Middleton when they arrived at the alter, saying: "We were supposed to have just a small family affair."

William then looked at Kate and whispered, “You look beautiful.” And that’s when I started crying like a baby.

Catherine looked nervous when she first started walking down the aisle with her father, but kept her calm throughout the ceremony. Her elegance and grace is amazing, Princess Diana would be so be happy if she were still alive.

As expected, Kate did not promise to "obey" her husband when she said her vows, but contrary to some rumors, the pair exchanged traditional sentiments, rather than writing their own vows.
