A royal Happy Birthday to Prince William!
The Duke of Cambridge turns 30 today and in honor of the milestone, Hollyscoop staffers will be spending the day playing polo and talking in British accents. (Not really.)
On a more serious note….
Will’s lovely wife Kate Middleton has prepared a special day for her stud muffin. According to ABC News, the couple will skip an extravagant fiesta and stick to a more exclusive setting.
“He has a very close, very loyal circle of friends and chances are he’ll be celebrating with them and they’ll be keeping tight lipped,” ABC News contributor Victoria Arbiter said.
Reportedly, Kate is planning a private dinner for William along with that close circle of friends.
But forget all that noise… Let’s get to the gifts!
Turning 30 means that the Prince will finally have access to a mega inheritance that his mother, the late Princess Diana, left behind for him. According to London’s Telegraph, the inheritance is an eye-popping $31 million, of which he will have to split with Prince Harry.
No word yet on how Kate plans to follow that gift up.
Kate turned 30 earlier this year. Despite speculation that that bash would be a glitzy affair, Kate and her party planning sister Pippa settled for a mellow day as well. Around that time, she and Will welcomed a new member into their family: a cocker spaniel named Lupo.
