Not only was there no specific reason behind the breakup, Prince Harry's friends said they were "shocked" to learn that Chelsy had ended their five year relationship.
When they split was announced, a royal source claimed the couple felt their relationship "had run its course," but it was more than that.
Chelsy, 23, is reportedly homesick for Africa, while Harry seems more committed than ever to army life, reports People magazine.
Still, the news came as a shock to some of Harry's friends. "I don't see this as long-term," a friend says of the couple. Another pal added, "It came right out of the blue."
Maybe we'll never know the real reason behind their split, but at the end of the Chelsy broke up with a Prince! A Prince!
