"Pushing Daisies" Is Here To Stay

"Pushing Daisies" has been such a success that ABC has decided to pick up the show for the remainder of the season.

The show has averaged a 3.9 rating/11.1 million viewers among adults 18-49 after just three airings.

It wasn’t such an easy road for “Pushing Daisies” as they had a lot of budget issues in the beginning and at one point the big shots asked executive producer Barry Sonnenfeld not to return for any more segments.

Fortunately however, everything seems to be peachy these days and that’s why they asked Sonnenfeld to come back to shoot more episodes.

If you haven’t seen the show, it is about a man who has the power to bring the dead back to life with the touch of his hand - unless he touches them again, at which point they return permanently to death - works with a private detective to query murder victims about who killed them. He finds himself in trouble when he revives a deceased woman who turns out to be his childhood love.

The show airs Wednesday’s at 8 p.m. on ABC so check it out!
