All You Need to Know About Pink's Husband Carey Hart

We’ve all seen new mom Pink with her tattooed up husband, but unless you’re into motocross, you probably have no idea who he is.

Hart started competing at motocross at a young age—six years old. At that age, most of us were crashing into things with our Big Wheels. Hart turned professional when he was only eighteen. He and Pink met in 2001 at the X Games in Philadelphia.

We’re getting to know motorcycle racer Carey Hart a little better, so here are some facts about the new dad.

He’s a music video star: Hart has appeared in a few of Pink’s videos, but he’s not riding any coattails. Hart also appeared in a music video for Kid Rock, “Bawitdaba”. In the video, Hart jumps a trailer park.

He’s a reality star: Hart was in the fifth season of VH1’s The Surreal Life. He also appeared in Inked after opening a tattoo shop in the Palms Casino.

He’s not traditional: While he might be playing the role of husband and father, he wasn’t the one who proposed. During a race, Pink held up a sign that read: “Will you marry me?” When Hart ignored her and completed another lap, she held up another sign that said, “I’m serious.”

His brother died in a motocross accident: Carey’s brother, Anthony Hart, passed away in 2008 due to injuries sustained during a motocross competition.

He had his own nightclub: Hart owned Wasted Space nightclub along with Benji and Joel Madden. The club closed its doors at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas a few years ago. In retrospect, they probably should’ve thought of a better name. It’s like applying for a job and telling the employer your name is “Doesn’t Work”.
