Phil Spector Found Guilty of Murder!

Phil Spector has been found guilty of murder. Today Los Angeles jurors found him guilty of second-degree murder in the 2003 shooting and death of Lana Clarkson.

If this case feels like it’s been going on forever, it’s partially because of a deadlocked jury back in 2007, making the case a mistrial. 10 were in favor of convicting Spector, while 2 were not.

This second trial lasted 32 hours over a nine-day span. Spector now faces a minimum of 18 years in prison.

Spector was first arrested back in February of 2003 after his limo driver called police to report a dead body in the foyer of the producer’s mansion.

Spector’s chauffeur testified at the initial trial that Spector said to him, “I think I killed somebody.”

Spector met Clarkson at the House of Blues earlier that night, where she worked as a cocktail waitress, and invited her back to his home for a drink. It was the first time the pair had met.

Spector is now in custody, where he will remain until May 29th, when he will be sentenced. 18 years is just the minimum, and he could realistically be looking at life in prison.

I'll always be honest.I left a message on facebook,so i'll leave the same here.Phil Spector,a legend-is/was genius, depending on opinion, had a life that most people would chew off their right arms off for,and all he did was f**k it up.Statistics say in the mental health guides and doctors manuals say that the people who are the most talented, have the most tortured lives unable to cope with their status, they become self centered and let their GOD complex take over, so they let their semons take over.just like OJ.they just gave their lives up.. need help bloody ask.Now Phil,i do not condone what you did..you are a shell of a man that you once were.I just feel sad&disappointed. In this selfish world and a "Celebrity Bubble" people live in,need to let their walls down, learn they are normal people like the rest of us..just with a gift. Those who are natural leaders and talented are statistically more likely to commit suicide or give in to their demons,no matter how sick. Its a sad day for all involved. The loss of genius, loss of life..loss of freedom.Enjoy prison Phil.

@DoraBelle, I really hope you're kidding when you are asking who Phil Spector is. He's one of the most famous music producer of the 20th century. You're sort of a ding-dong, DoraBelle.....

I think the words he said to the girl were a factor in her death, but I do not believe he pulled the trigger!!!!!!!! There is TOO much forensic evidence that proves otherwise!!!

You think the saga is over just because he's been found guilty. Don't forget the appeals, they can go on and on and on and on and on...
