Back in the 1970's, both of
Pete Wentz's parents worked for Vice President-elect
Joe Biden.
The interesting thing is that they were both single at the time that they were employed by the Senator.
Pete proudly posted this little tidbit on his blog where he quotes his father as saying: "Mom and I met in Washington when we were both legislative assistants to Sen. Biden, when he was in his first term [1972-78]. I had worked in his campaign, and your mother had been in the foreign service. We started out as friends and the rest is history."
Just think..if they hadn't met through Biden, Pete might never have come to be. And where would Ashlee be right about now?
