Fall Out Boy Donates Big Bucks To Axe Out Prop 8

Fall Out Boy wants the world to know they're voting no on Prop 8, which will try to overturn same sex marriage in the states where it's legal. They showed that support in the form of cash money. $50K worth!

Pete Wentz recently said, "There are a lot of causes out there — a lot of 'good' fights to be fought. I think proposition 8 is pretty lame — as many others do too. It's fucking lame."

Another organization that has just come out against Prop 8 is Google. The company doesn't normally take a public position on issues outside of their realm, but they made an exception for this.

Google issued a statement saying, "We hope that California voters will vote no on Proposition 8 -- we should not eliminate anyone's fundamental rights, whatever their sexuality, to marry the person they love."

Equality California also issued a statement yesterday saying, "We believe government shouldn't legislate love. Vote no on proposition 8."

There are so many people against Prop 8 we can't believe it's even an issue in this election.
