Get clean or go to jail! How many times can someone hear that? Send his a$$ off to jail already!
Pete Doherty was in court today and the judge adjourned the sentencing to September 4. This case was for driving illegally while in possession of crack, heroin, ketamine and cannabis. They all sound the same right?
Judge Lachlar told the court: "I see that he (Doherty) did not actually do the detox until the end of the month. It's early days, to put it mildly.
"He has been tested and it's positive - perhaps not surprising at this early stage."
"What I have in mind is to adjourn the matter for four weeks to assess his motivation. What I have in mind is a community order or prison. If he does not show his motivation it's prison, as simple as that."
I'm convinced this guy works with the police because the courts seem to be so lenient with him or maybe its just the court system in the UK that is more lenient. Whatever the case is he has been getting in trouble way too many times to still let him off with a slap on the wrist.
