Pete Is Sorry For Being a Druggie; Back In Rehab

Pete Doherty

Kate Moss' ex junkie fiancé Pete Doherty says he's sorry for being a crack head. Yesterday we reported that there was a video of Pete injecting himself with heroin. The video was reportedly filmed right after he got back from the MTV European Music Awards in Germany.

Pete's people want to apologize on his behalf and have shipped his junkie ass back to rehab. Here's the statement:

"Peter Doherty would like to apologize to the medical staff, fans and well-wishers who have helped and encouraged his progress in fighting his addiction to heroin. His ongoing rehabilitation was a source of such pride to him that Peter and those closest to him thought that he was close to winning his personal battle with the drug. However, Peter sadly relapsed last week and is now looking to check himself back into a rehab clinic so that he can try to continue the hitherto excellent attempts he had made to break free of heroin. He realizes that he has not only let himself down but has let down those who trusted and encouraged his efforts and he is filled with remorse for what he describes today as, 'a stupid, stupid action for which I feel only shame.'"

Does this news really surprise any of us? This guy could kill someone in front of 100 witnesses in broad daylight and the UK Judge would STILL let him walk free. It's a shame Pete does NOT respect his body.....LOSER!

I feel sorry for him. You gotta understand that your body creates receptors for drugs like these, and your body goes through physical withdrawals if you stop feeding those receptors. It's hard to give up such a hard drug because you have the mental AND the physical effects to get through. And he's going right back to rehab, so he's trying.

well obviously a majority of the comments were from people who haven't dealt with a heroin addiction. It is not the same as any other addiction, it is much more complex and mind controlling. So unless you smart ass motherfuckers have EVER been addicited to heroin, you shouldn't concern yourself with it. It's a disease, why should people be put in jail because their suffering a ginetic misfunction? atleast he's not hurting anybody, is that all you losers do is jealously comment on celebrities lifes because you don't have ones your fucking self?!
