Kate Moss' ex beau Pete Doherty wants to shed his junkie reputation and start the New Year on a fresh note. He claims to be a 'police loving poet' and nothing like the image that the media perceives him to be.
Doherty said, "Obviously I'm off the drugs now. (My public persona is) nothing more than a horrible, cartoon-like monster that bears no relation to the quiet, shy, retiring, teetotal, police-loving, clean-nosed poet you see before you now."
If Pete can get clean there's hope for Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse.
