Joke Of The Day: Pete Doherty is planning on running London’s 26-mile marathon. He thinks by running the marathon he can prove that he is serious about kicking his drug habit. He also thinks it will improve his health and he can lose the weight he had gained during rehab.
A source tells the Daily Mirror, "He knows that people will be surprised by his efforts to be healthier but he really wants to turn over a new leaf.
A spokesman for Doherty says, "There is some truth to this - you never know what could happen."
Does he know he has to train for a marathon? Running a marathon is not a joke. Healthy people train months prior to any marathon and some still don’t have the body strength to finish.
I think Pete Doherty deserves his own reality show. Networks should really think about maybe getting Pete Doherty, Amy Winehouse and Tara Reid all on one island and just tape what happens because that would be pure comedy. Who else do you guys think would be a great fit to be on that island with Pete, Amy and Tara?
