Everyone’s favorite junkie is out of the pokey. Pete Doherty was released from prison after serving just 29 days of a 14-week sentence. Typical.
After getting busted with drugs (for the 3746th time), Doherty served almost a month and was handed a suspended sentence for driving while uninsured and in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis. Breakfast of champions!
While leaving the London prison, Crack Doherty told waiting reporters he was looking forward to drinking rum and coke and spending time with his cats.
He will be required to make regular visits to court for progress reports and complete a rehab program. Rehab and Pete Doherty don't go together in the same sentence, so lets see how that one will pan out.
