Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are one of those inseparable couples that have started to morph into each other, so a pregnancy or an engagement isn't too far fetched.
Pete has apparently taken his relationship to the next step by presenting Ashlee with a promise ring, which is what sparked the engagement rumors. Ashlee's actually been wearing that ring for a while now and confesses it was a promise ring from her man.
"It just means that he hasn't asked my dad yet..." she explained on Fuse TV's The Sauce.
She also set the record straight about those pregnancy rumors saying, "No, I'm not pregnant."
Maybe Pete's just scared to propose to Ashlee because he knows Joe comes with the package.
