PETA is in the headlines once again, causing a ruckus. This time it’s for a commercial they shot which was scheduled to air during the Super Bowl.
NBC has decided to pull the plug on the ad because it just a little too sexy for television. And they learned their lesson five years ago with the whole Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake debocle.
The video clip depicts hot girls wearing lingerie and having the sexy time with a variety of veggies. And PETA thinks it’s all fixed against them.
A rep commented: “PETA’s veggie ads are locked out, while ads for fried chicken and burgers are allowed, even though these foods make Americans fat, sick and boring in bed.”
The PETA ad is part of their “Veggie Love” and tells us that “Studies Show Vegetarians Have Better Sex.”
