“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence killed a squirrel and ‘aint apologizing for it. Wait, what? Eww, and also, awww poor squirrel.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about her sicko squirrel-skinning scene from her breakout movie, “Winter’s Bone.” Fun Fact: Jennifer Lawrence also eats a squirrel in “Hunger Games!” Somebody has a thing for squirrel meat! Gross fact Tuesdays!

“They told PETA multiply times they don't sell fur at Dash (the Kardashians’ boutique)… and we caught them cold-handedly at their Calabasas store,” Joanna told Hollyscoop, providing us with proof of the purchase.
The proof included a receipt in the amount of $297.98 for the purchase of a rabbit fur vest.

The People for Ethical Treatment for Animals has offered to pay the legal fees of the mystery women who poured flour on Kim Kardashian last week. This comes amid news that Kim may have changed her mind about pressing charges against the woman.
PETA denies being involved in the red carpet attack but has long criticized Kardashian’s decision to wear fur.

Along with SNL’s Kristen Wiig, Brand has won PETA’s annual contest for the sexiest vegetarian celebrities. The comedians beat out Natalie Portman, Jaoquin Pheonix, Oliva Wilde, and Anne Hathaway.
It was actually the public that chose the two celebs as “sexiest vegetarian celebrities”, and something tells me it had less to do with looks and more to do with their devotion to a meatless diet...

In the latest ad, JB cuddles with an adorable pooch named Bijoux who looks like he’s going to bite Justin’s little nugget fingers off. The slogan reads: “My World Includes Compassion for Animals. Yours Should Too.”
Seems harmless enough, until the PETA president starts showing up at Bieber’s house unannounced demanding he pose for the “I’d Rather Go Naked” campaign next.
Pretty soon, Justin can kiss all those multi-colored kewl hi-tops goodbye—Nike better get a jumpstart on their faux leather line stat.
Justin played into the campaign perfectly with a heartwarming story about his pound pup Sam. “We moved to a city where we didn’t really know anybody, so I kinda wanted a friend around. And Sam was kinda like that friend,” Bieber explained.
“My Dad and I used to go and hang out … just go and visit the different animals and stuff. It’s really important that people adopt. I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog that has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”
Ah-dor-ah-ble.

I don’t know what took the animal rights activist group so long—Kim has been wearing more fur than P Diddy—but they finally wrote her a scathing letter.
Pics of Kim Kardashian’s Fur Obsession
It reads:
“Kim Kardashian is a woman who has everything – except, it seems, an ounce of sympathy for the animals who have the fur ripped off their backs so that she can purchase yet another gaudy jacket. We wish she would take a cue from her fur-free sister, Khloe Kardashian – but evidently, kindness and generosity don’t run in the family.”
I suppose the last straw for PETA was when Kimmie was photographed twice in one day in two different furs. Like, we get it. Fur is in this season. But don’t kill it for everyone! The first fur offense was on Monday, when she stepped out wearing a knee-length jacket reportedly made of animal pelts. Later that day, Kim opted for a short black mink jacket.
I have to side with PETA here—Kim has been wearing a whole lot of fur lately, although I’m pretty sure some of the looks are faux fur, in which case PETA has no right to get all pissy.
What do you think about Kim’s fur obsession? Love it or hate it?

Wilde was named 2010’s Sexiest Vegetarian by PETA. Her winning male counterpart is Biggest Loser trailer Bob Harper. Olivia took to her new website wildthings.org to give thanks.
Olivia Wilde Goes Topless in GQ Italy
She wrote: “The kind folks at Peta recently asked their supporters to vote for their sexiest Vegetarian celebrity and today I learned I won that title, along with a dude who disproves the silly lie that Vegans cant be strong: Biggest Loser trainer, Bob Harper. I am really honored, and very inspired to continue living the vegan lifestyle that has been so good to my body, my animal friends, and the world we live in. So thank you, PETA, and thanks to all who voted for me!
PETA’s press release read: Animal lover and activist Olivia Wilde proves that being vegan helps one shine from the inside out. She has saved lives on Fox's hit show House and has saved the lives of animals off-screen by choosing a vegan diet. Going vegan saves the lives of about 100 animals a year! Whether she's helping animals and the environment or starring in upcoming films like Tron and Cowboys & Aliens, we can't wait to see more from Olivia.
Olivia explains, "Beyond my desire to boycott the torture factories, I am also way happier when I eat a plant based diet, and I feel about a thousand times more energetic."
“Other celebrities who landed in the top 10 include Alec Baldwin, Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Deschanel, Joaquin Phoenix, Michael Ausiello, Russell Brand, and Sarah Silverman.”

He did a full-frontal pose that shows off his numerous tattoos. As for coverage? He used nothing but his hands to cover up his junk. The tagline reads, “Ink, not mink. Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs.”
Dave told PETA, “Several years ago, I saw video footage of animals being skinned alive and screaming, and it, it honestly is the most horrific, inhumane thing I’ve ever seen. These animals are often still conscious as they have their pelts peeled off their writhing bodies and can be heard screaming in pain.”
He also gave some of his personal tips that others can follow. “Some of the simple things you can do to help save animals is not buy fur, stay away from products that have been animal tested. It’s really very, very simple to just support something or buy something that doesn’t brutalize animals like this.”
Check out the behind-the-scenes look from Dave’s shoot. But we’ll warn you—it’s graphic!

The sign reads: “Too much sex can be a bad thing,” accompanied by an image of Tiger. In the fine print the billboard also says, “…for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spay or neuter!
Maybe Elin should consider neutering her husband! According to the Orlando Sentinel, PETA is still trying to find a billboard company who will agree to put up the sign.
"It's a fun, tongue-in-cheek approach. We hope these billboard companies will understand," Virginia Fort, a campaigner with PETA, told the paper of the ad.
Forte also hopes Woods would "appreciate" it, since it's in good fun and "turning his sex scandal into something positive for little tigers."
Somehow we doubt Tiger will approve.

Kellan is PETA's latest spokesperson in their "Adopt, Don't Buy" campaign.
Kellan tells PETA, "If anything, I think mutts stay the healthiest. There are surprisingly so many animals in these shelters. It's sad, and knowing that they get euthanized...and there's a lot you can do...spay or neuter your pets so that doesn't happen."
Lutz explains that he found Kola in a shelter, curled up and frightened in the back of a cage. "I touched her toe and said, 'Hey, what's your name?' " he recalls. "She spoke to me." Warned that she was a puller, Lutz decided to walk her anyway, and knew then that he'd found the one. "From that day on, I loved her," he says.
According to PETA, about 8 million unwanted dogs and cats enter shelters every year but you can do your part and adopt, don't buy!
