Johnny Depp equals box office gold! Alice In Wonderland not only dominated the box office this past weekend, it was the biggest domestic 3-D opening ever and the highest-grossing movie of 2010, reports Hollywood Life.

In the U.S., it made $41 million on Friday and $44.3 million on Saturday. The worldwide three-day total was a whopping $210 million. For the record the movie cost $200 million to make.

2. Brooklyn's Finest: $13.5 million

3. Shutter Island: $13.3 million

4. Cop Out: $9.1 million

5. Avatar: $7.7 million

Martin Scorsese has done it again! Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio's psychological thriller 'Shutter Island' dominated the box office this weekend taking in over $40 million dollars opening weekend.

Meanwhile, star-studded romantic comedy Valentine's Day slipped to number two, taking in $17.2 million and James Cameron's Avatar remains strong at three with $16.1 million.

The top ten movies from the February 19-21 weekend are:

1. Shutter Island: $40.2 million

2. Valentine's Day: $17.1 million

3. Avatar: $16.1 million

4. Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief: $15.3 million

5. The Wolfman: $9.8 million

6. Dear John: $7.3 million

7. The Tooth Fairy: $4.5 million

8. Crazy Heart: $4 million

9. From Paris With Love: $2.5 million

Cupid was kind to Garry Marshall and the star-studded cast of his romantic comedy 'Valentine's Day' because it rocked the box office this weekend making more than $52.4 million dollars.

Millions flocked to watch the romantic comedy, which stars Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher and Bradley Cooper, among others.
