Warning: don’t complain about your looks to Penelope Cruz, or she’ll slap you. Really, she will.
Penelope says she wants to “slap” women who complain about aging because no one should have to worry about growing old. This coming from someone who doesn’t age.
She told Metro: "When I hear a woman who is in her early 30s is worrying about growing old, I just want to slap her.”
She added, "When I'm 80, I want to look in the mirror and see an 80-year-old woman. My grandmother had so many wrinkles and every wrinkle told a story.
“I want to experience every year of my life for what it is. It doesn't mean I am against somebody who does a little retouch or [has] plastic surgery. I don't judge people who do it. I just don't like how women complain about growing old."
Of course it annoys you—because you haven’t aged in ten years. Don’t you just love it when celebrities who can afford thousand dollar facials and ridiculous spa treatments get annoyed by regular people problems?
When asked about her beauty regime she recently said: “I’m the wrong person to ask, because every day when I’m not working, I don’t wear makeup. I like messy hair, and I wear jeans and a big T-shirt. If I could, I’d be barefoot in the street.”
Ok, you’re perfect. We get it.
She’s rich, famous and married to Javier Bardem. I’d look like I was eternally 25 too. Sorry P-I’m not with you on this one. Those wrinkles do annoy me. I want to slap the wrinkles off my face, not get slapped for hating on them.
