American actress Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California and is best recognized for her work in Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011) and being the wife of Robin Thicke.
Born on December 5, 1975, Patton made her acting debut in the TV movie Murder Book (2005) before landing her first feature film role in the comedy Hitch (2005) alongside Will Smith.
From there, Patton’s career began to take off with memorable roles alongside some of Hollywood’s most loved actors, such as Jessica Biel in London (2005), Denzel Washington in Déjà vu (2006) and Kiefer Sutherland in Mirrors (2008).
After starring in the Oscar-winning drama Precious (2009), Patton landed the role of Jane Carter in the blockbuster hit Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011). She then starred in the thriller Disconnect (2012) with Jason Bateman.
Patton’s most recent projects include, the comedy Baggage Claim (2013) with Taye Diggs, the dramedy About Last Night (2014) alongside Kevin Hart, and Mission: Impossible 5 (unknown release date).
