Why wouldn’t she come out about it in the three years that past? Probably because serving up deep fried butter weekly on her Food Network show wouldn’t exactly send the right message.

Perhaps Deen is using this as a transition between her current job that doesn’t stray too far away from comfort food, and her new show she has in the works, which is the one Kate Gosselin was attached to a few months back.
We’re sure Paula will be great on the show for one or two episodes. And if we were contestants on the show, we’d be happy to see such a smiling face staring back at the stage! But we hope Paula isn’t in the running to replace Simon for good!
