Paula Abdul may not be returning to American Idol, but that doesn’t mean her career is over! She says she is considering many different offers that have been presented to her since her announcement.

She told the AP, "At this point, there are so many wonderful things that are being offered to me. And I got to take a deep breath, sleep a little ... and go through everything."

One of the big offers being talked about this week is a possible appearance on So You Think You Can Dance, which will be airing earlier this year, in September.

Paula says, "I am not going to rule that out. I'm a dancer, a choreographer. Dance is a love of mine. But I have yet to sit down and discuss anything with anyone. It's all happening within the next couple of weeks."

We also hear that negotiations for American Idol aren't done yet and she's still talking to network execs about possibly returning. When its all said and done, Paula could end up with two jobs!

For now, Paula is keeping herself busy on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva, on which she plays a judge. She says, "And I got to tell you, I'm never going to change who I am at the core. I'm a hard worker, I love working hard and nothing gives me more joy than to be on a project and working with people who are trying to achieve the same goal. And that's where I'm at right now."

What would you like Paula’s next move to be?

whatever her next move is I know it will be a good one! Good for Paula! I'm excited to see where she goes. I do believe, though, she should go for the dance show. She hasn't been doing enough of that and at her core, she is a true dancer/choreographer. I think that would make her truly happy to work with the kids on that show. :)
