Paula Abdul to Join X Factor?

Paula Abdul may been officially replaced by Ellen Degeneres on American Idol, but we hear she may a new show in the works that's equally as exciting! Hint, hint...if she gets the job, she'll be seeing a lot more of Simon Cowell.

According to reports, Simon is lobbying to get Paula on X Factor, which is the British show he produces and judges on.

A TV insider tells Star magazine, “They’re not sure how she’ll be used yet. She might mentor the contestants during the final live shows and teach them the importance of stage presence."

Paula guest judged the UK series for one episode in 2006. We say yes to this! She'll be able to infiltrate a whole new market since the show airs in the UK! This is Paula's ticket back on top!
