Happy now, Simon Cowell? After being fired from the ‘X-Factor’, Paula Abdul had to first pay some woman suing her a million bucks, and now she’s giving up her nearly two million dollar Sherman Oaks home, probably to go live in some Hollywood studio quadplex that doesn’t even have a dishwasher.
Okay, the last part is probably not going to happen. But damn, it does kind of seem like Paula’s strapped for cash. In December, she had an estate sale, selling shoes, accessories, clothes and memorabilia.
And now she’s putting her entire home up for sale. It’s like she’s just opening her doors and saying, ‘Alright, whaddya want? How much you got? Nothin’s off-limits in here, folks, just name ya price!’ I also imagined her dressed as P.T. Barnum while she's saying this.
The 4,679 square foot Mediterranean style home comes with five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen, walk-in closets, several fireplaces, and a private balcony off the master suite.
But if you’re gonna make an offer, keep in mind the woman that sued Paula did so because she fell in the singer’s driveway.
Jill Kohl was filming Paula’s reality show ‘Hey Paula’ back in 2007, and Kohl took a nasty fall reportedly because the driveway was in bad condition, and she had to undergo a series of back surgeries. So Abdul forked over a whopping $900,000 in a settlement.
But hey, don’t feel too bad for her. Yesterday Paula Tweeted: "Having a blast on @RoyalCaribbean Oasis of the Seas this week :)) so many cool things to do & plenty of sunshine!!"
