Paula Abdul Not Joining DWTS

Despite the rumors, it looks like Paula Abdul will not be joining the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. Sources close to the ex-Idol judge tell TMZ that she’s decided against the move, even though ABC offered her a big paycheck.

Sources says Paula was offered $1.1 million to compete on this season. But it seems like she may be holding out for something bigger and better.

Just last week, Hollyscoop reported that Abdul was shooting a talk show pilot for Oprah’s new OWN network. And there’s also talk that she’s still in negotiations to join Simon Cowell on X Factor next year.

As for DWTS, we’ll hear the full lineup tonight, plus hopefully they’ve already found a replacement for co-host Samantha Harris, who announced she was leaving the show. Stay tuned!
