Paula Abdul has landed herself a gig to take her mind off of American Idol! She’ll be hosting VH1 Divas next month.
Paula announced the news via her Twitter, saying, "Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year's "Vh1 Divas"! The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST.”
She continued, "This year's VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!"
The show will air live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music Howard Gilman Opera House in New York.
It’s a start, but it’s no Idol, that’s for sure! At least Paula will have a lot of time on her hands now!
