Paula Abdul Close to Getting TV Deal

The question on everyone's mind ever since Paula Abdul left American Idol is where will she go next.

There have been several rumors that she will join Simon Cowell in his new venture, but TMZ reports that Paula is very close to also closing a deal with ABC.

ABC has reportedly offered her a $1,000,000 development deal, only if she appears on "Dancing With the Stars."

DWTS has been trying to get Paula on for years and they probably thought this was the best way to get her on the show.

The deal does not say anything about Paula joining Simon on the "The X Factor" with so if she wants she can do both shows. Simon and Paula met last week and rumor has it that they are very close to striking a deal.
