“Absolutely. I would love that,” ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena on Saturday. “I was a little stunned by the decision, and we would love to have her on Dancing.”
McPherson added she'd be welcomed either as a judge or talent. “I think she’s a huge talent,” said McPherson. “There’s a sensitivity and an empathy that balances out Idol, and we’d love to get a piece of that.”
As Hollyscoop previously reported, negotiations for Paula to return to American Idol aren't completely over, in fact, she has more options now than ever before!
"At this point, there are so many wonderful things that are being offered to me. And I got to take a deep breath, sleep a little ... and go through everything," Paula told the AP earlier this week.
She's already been offered a job at So You Think You Can Dance.
She says, "I am not going to rule that out. I'm a dancer, a choreographer. Dance is a love of mine. But I have yet to sit down and discuss anything with anyone. It's all happening within the next couple of weeks."
Of course all of this started after Paula demanded a bigger paycheck to return to American Idol. Do you think American Idol bosses should reconsider letting her go and up her contract? Or should Paula just move on and accept jobs at other shows?
