Vin Diesel spoke publicly for the first time following Paul Walker’s death when he visited the crash-turned-memorial site for the late actor.
Last night, Vin stopped by to mourn and pay his respects to his co-star and friend. While there, he used a P.A. microphone attached to a sheriff’s car to speak to the many fans who were also present.
“I just want to say to all of you,” Vin started, “if my brother were here right now and he saw all the love that you were bringing him, if he could see for himself that all of you have showed up to show my brother love at this hard time.”
“And the family gets to see all of you showing the love that you've shown Paul, it's going to stay with me forever,” Vin continued. “I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciated him.”
Vin starred with Paul in five of the six Fast and Furious movies. Paul’s other co-star Tyrese also made a tearful appearance at the memorial site less than 24 hours after the tragic news wasannounced.
