Patrick Swayze’s wife Lisa Neimi is prepared to speak out publicly about him for the first time, just six weeks after losing Patrick to pancreatic cancer.
Neimi will reportedly join Elizabeth Edwards and Susan St. James in a in a roundtable discussion on Grief, Healing and Resilience at the Women's Conference 2009 in Long Beach, CA on Oct. 27.
The discussion will be moderated by California First Lady and Women's Conference host Maria Shriver, who lost her mother Eunice Shriver this summer, as well as her uncle Ted Kennedy.
The Women's Conference gathers more than 100 newsmakers and world opinion leaders with 25,000 women from all walks of life for to be "educated, inspired and empowered to be Architects of Change in their own lives, within their communities and around the world."
We hope this enables Lisa to grow stronger after Patrick’s death. She was always a permanent fixture by his side during his last days, and living without him must be a constant struggle for her.
