Patrick Swayze to Pen Memoir With Wife

Patrick Swayze has decided to pen a memoir with his wife Lisa. Don’t get any ideas, the book will not be an inspirational book but it will reportedly focus on his life’s journey including the battle that he is currently fighting with Pancreatic Cancer.

Swayze was hospitalized for pneumonia on January 9th but has since been released. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in February 2008.

According to studies, people that are in the advanced stages of pancreatic cancer have less than 5 percent survival rate for five years. If the cancer is in it’s early stages and treated with surgery and chemotherapy, the five-year survival rate can be increased by 17-25 percent.

Swayze’s book will definitely be an interesting read. There is no word yet on when the book will be published.
