In an interview with The New York Times, actor
Patrick Swayze opened up about his battle with pancreatic cancer and how he stays in a good place.
"How do you nurture a positive attitude when all the statistics say you’re a dead man? You go to work. I do find myself, at the end of the day, riding home sort of catching myself with a smile on my face. I'm proud of what I'm doing,” he said.
Patrick, 56, did admit that fighting the cancer is definitely not an easy thing. "It’s a battle zone I go through. Chemo, no matter how you cut it, is hell on wheels."
We wish Patrick the best as he continues to tackle his cancer with a positive attitude and his loving wife Lisa by his side.
