Patrick Swayze Memoir in Store in Two Weeks

That was quick! The memoir that Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa were working on will be in store in less than two weeks.

Patrick lost his life to pancreatic cancer earlier this week after a two year battle with the disease. Him and his wife Lisa revealed plans to release his memoir back in February and it's already on its way to the bookshelves.

"I began thinking to myself, I've had more lifetimes than any 10 people put together, and it's been an amazing ride," he wrote in his soon-to-be released memoir, The Time of My Life.

He adds, "I couldn't be dying - I had too much to live for! I never took any painkillers since they dull not only your pain but also your sharpness."

He admits he was "determined to live until a cure is found," but unfortunately he had to accept his fate when the tumor spread to his liver.

Patrick was a great actor, husband and friend. He'll be remembered fondly for years to come and now thanks to his memoir, we’ll soon know more about the man who danced into our hearts.
