Patrick Swayze and his doctors decided it would be a good idea for him to stop taking chemotherapy in an effort to battle pancreatic cancer.
According to a report in the National Enquirer, doctors decided he is too weak to continue with chemo treatment.
"His condition is inoperable and they have stopped the chemo. He's still losing weight and he's very weak," a family friend told the magazine.
During a recent interview to promote his show 'The Beast' Patrick told reporters, "My treatments are working and I am winning the battle." He was hospitalized for pneumonia shortly after.
Whether its chemo or natural forms of treatment, we wish Patrick and his family all the best. It's such a difficult disease to deal with, physically and emotionally.
UPDATE: "The reports are not true. Patrick is continuing his treatment," said his rep Annett Wolf.
