Swayze was diagnosed with late-stage pancreatic cancer last year and recently said that he may have only two years to live.
Despite reportedly weighing just 105 lbs, Patrick is said to be "in good spirits," according to the UK Sun.
According to Just Jared, Swayze decided to go forward with a “Do Not Resuscitate” order, requiring doctors to let him die in the event that he stops breathing or his heart stops beating.
Of his battle with cancer, Patrick recently said, "Five years is pretty wishful thinking... Two years seems likely if you're going to believe statistics. I want to last until they find a cure, which means I'd better get a fire under it"
Meanwhile, Simon & Schuster has bought rights to a memoir by Swayze about his battle with cancer, for publication this autumn.
The yet to be titled book is co-written by Swayze’s wife Lisa Niemi and will offer an account of his childhood, career and marriage, as well as his battle with stage four pancreatic cancer.
